On the road again for axis

We are headed for Sisterdale. My buddy called and said he had been watching four good axis the last two days and for us to get there. So we just through our stuff on the truck and on the way. Will keep y'all updated. This is gonna be a rifle hunt. Low fence ranch no feeders or blinds. He has been road feeding and feeding alfalfa. More to come. I hope.

No. Not sure what ranch we are hunting at. He takes care of several in the area.
He just said it was close to Sisterdale He just said to get there ASAP.

In San Antonio, very bad wreck on loop 1604 at about hwy 35. Two 18 wheeler gravel belly dumps. One jackknifed the other rolled over on side. Looked like at least 4 cars also involved. Hope everyone was alright. Traffic backed up for miles.

Checked in at motel in Boerne. Get a couple minutes rest, change and head for Sisterdale at 5 to meet up for late hunt this evening.

We drove through Sisterdale the other day, cutting across from Boerne to Wildseed Farms. BEAUTIFUL country. Good luck with your hunt.
