    Bow blind window question

Ok so I'm doin the long rectangle windows, I'm doin three in the front and one on each side..the blind is 6x6x6. How far from the top and bottom should they be and how what should the length and width be?

    Thanks in advance

Ground blind or elevated? If elevated, how high?

My blind now is 5' off the ground. The windows are (about) 10" wide and 36" tall. They're about 10" from the floor and ceiling.

You need to have the chair you are going to sit in placed in the blind to see where you need them. Make them as small as possible as to not let a bunch of light in. That is how I positioned mine. I have only one window in front and it is only about 12" wide and maybe 18" to 20" tall, but I can shoot anywhere in my pen if needed and I have a clear shot form the trees.

The bottom should be tall enough that you don't shoot through it at close range of course.....and that will depend on how tall your chair is, how tall you are and how high your blind is off the ground. Everybody is different. I'd get in your exact blind chair and gauge it.

On the flipside if you make them too big...especially with windows on each side, you will be letting a bunch of light and defeat the purpose of the black inside.

Regarding the light issue, the camo shoot thru screens help out a lot. You can buy the fabric fairly inexpensive and make some removable/replaceable frames out of 1X4's
