        Go to jds seafood in 35 right outside of rockport headed towards aransas pass you won't regret it tell them the Thurmonds sent you best seafood around
        JD is an old Coast Guard friend of mine - bangs out an awesome breakfast as well too! He makes a burger that requires a doggie bag take-out.....I've spotted a few 300+ pound Club fellas taking their left over burger out in a sack LOL! If you can get him talking about fishing....ask him about his Alaskan halibut - and see if he is willing to toss together a beer batter fry for some fresh caught fish filets? All that's required is......you have to bring the beer! We fished Cape Hatteras together...back in the day.

        Crab-N is another excellent seafood restaurant that I frequent with fresh fish filets. After a day on the water, I'll haul a few baggies of filets there for an evening fry. Their Cajun batter seasoning is unbelievable on fresh flounder filets!!!! Some of the locals think it's a bit too much YACHT CLUB styled for their taste....nothing but a thing for this old Coastie!

        Boiling Pot is great for steamed shrimp and iced cold beer....if it's hot out...wait till after sundown to go or...you're gonna wanna drink a lot of cold beer

        Charlotte Plummer's is also a nice little place to eat as well....a great place for several couples to chill at the end of a long day on the water.

          Panjos= great pizza!

          Boiling pot= paying 300 x's too much for over cooked skrimp & sausage.

          Moondogs. Blackened Grouper sammich with mango salsa, will not dissapoint.
          Their brisket nachos ain't half bad either

                            It was good when I was a kid but now that we go to rockport ever weekend, we close our eyes as we drive by! Can't stand it anymore!

                              Charolotte Plumbers and The Crab Inn. Crab Inn has the best bisque I've ever had the pleasure of eating. If you're up for crossing the ferry, Virginia's on the Bay!

                                bring your own food and cook your own meals, other than good hamburger places rockport doesnt have much to offer. The Chartroom on the island has opened back up and seems pretty good. But honestly if you want good seafood from a restuarant just drive to Port A
