That's the north Jetty at Fish Pass - Mustang Island - good to see the tide's are back to normal...last weekend the entire North and South side had surf into the dunes. We got run off Mustang Island about mid-morning Saturday....managed some excellent surf before we everyone there were forced to leave.

Saturday morning, South side Fish Pass jetty, trout every cast with croaker, lives shrimp and fingerling mullet - freelined and or fish finder rigged. 4 there managed to hit a limit before everyone was run off.


Sunday I got into small tarpon on the Packery Channel south jetty......had a blast but nothing hit the rocks. I didn't use live bait....opting to cast some huge lures with the surf rod.
