Well it started out a little slow in the surf and then the bait moved in and it was on. Everything was going good. I had three trout and went to take one off and the topwater got hung in the net. So I got a little mad at it and I yanked it in my finger. I called my buddy over to give me a hand getting it out but it was past the barb and not moving. So it was either go to doc or grow a pair. I told him to fish and let me think this over. After awhile I decided its coming out. He tried to pull it out but I didn't like so I grabbed the pliers and went to pulling and gritting my teeth and it finally came out. I just could not see wasting a good morning of fishing at docs office. Well we fished for awhile and ended up with 11 and alot of under size. We were at surfside.

Very nice.....I'm a hook puller myself....My buddy almost passed out when he had to do one of mine and a couple years earlier when I had to do one of his.........
Try this string technique next time.....I learned this after some plier pullings when I was young..
Nice catch!
