Mauser type rifle question

I bought this about 20 years ago from a 75 year old man. I've done a little research and haven't really been able to find out much on it so I just thought to see if anybody on the GS knows anything and what it would be worth.

looks like a re-barreled sporterized 98...should shoot great!

reminds me of my paw paws old sako with that style bolt and the saftey being on the left side.

Yes... I believe it is either the FN Deluxe or Supreme Sporting Rifle. The proof markings stamped on the barrel and the breach will the story if anybody knows what they mean.

Good to know it's worth $100. I was getting worried there for a minute. lol!! It's not for sale, I just would like to get more info on it.
