My son is going to be 9 next month and he is on me for an r/c boat. He saw one at Wal Mart yesterday but I suspect that it is probably junk just like the Air Hogg RC plane he just had to have for Christmas. We are probably looking at a budget of $80 - $100. I am guessing battery would be the way to go. I also want to get one that actually has replaceable parts and not something you throw away if it breaks.
