    Well at least the capacitor. Never fails the ac will I out on the hottest day of the year.

      That isn't good. BTW, it was nice to meet you and your family at the races yesterday. Hope your AC gets fixed asap

          must be a TBH thing. ours went out last Tuesday (capacitor). fortunately we had it fixed in a tad over 12 hours. good luck to you

            Mine is doing something funky. One unit does both up and downstairs. There's some flap that diverts it up or down. You can hear a clunk when it switches. Well it's not moving. Did it one say last year too.

              It was good to meet you also. A T B H er and a soldier to boot. When we getmoved into Viet new house you and your family will have to come to the house waming party.

                I feel your pain. Mine went out last night. It is 91 deg inside right now. Heading to inlaws for a day or two (hopefully). Going to get estimates on a new unit tomorow.

                  Aww man. Got home today and everything was blowing hot air inside. Outside unit was off.... Really? This house is only 7 yrs old. It could be 110 and the house could cool off to 70 no problem. It was 89 when I got home. I messed with stuff an got the outside unit on after messing with the breaker. Not cool! Pun intended

                    I just took my capacitor in and they said its good. Got a fan motor on order. Won't get here until Thursday. If that fails. I'm calling in a professional.

                      That is a blown capacitor for sure. Nice hole there. Hope nothing else shorted when it failed.
