You should keep up with this place up here near Waco....

It was custom built by a private owner for use as his personal barefoot facility. He hosted the Nationals there and I believe that the World Championships will be there also.

He also has hosted 2 Barefoot Jump Contests.

He just completed and opened a Cable Ski Park on the property also.

That's Stuart Parsons. I've been up there two years ago for reigonals. Planning to try the cable park in a few weeks. His place is unbelievable. Thanks for looking out though!

SO jealous! I always wanted to learn that! I can slalom but always wanted to learn barefoot. When I was a kid, I always wanted to work at Sea World in the Water Ski Show.

We learned to barefoot off of a kneeboard. It takes a real set to stand up off of a kneeboard at 40+ MPH.

Keep it up and he will be doing deep water starts before you know it. I had a buddy who would do deep water starts off of the top of elevated (2nd story) boat docks. My footing career ended at Lake Broken Bow on a Sunday morning. I caught a toe and did a face plant faster than I could get my hands up to protect my face.

I learned real quick that I loved rounding the little red buoys more than barefooting!

Have fun with your son...these will be some of the best times of your life!

Yep. I've had my share of face plants too. Nothing like clearing out your sinuses at 40mph on water, lol. I love it though. The adrenaline rush is addictive. He was asking when he could go again as soon as we left.
