Swine, I would love to go bowfishing, but I do not have any of the equipment and do not have the funds to buy them. Wouldn't mind making wetting a line with you sometime though.

Chris, anytime you wanna hit the lake all you have to do is give me a shout.

I know what you mean, I like to pig hunt at night during the summer and I could find people that would go once or twice but after they found out how hot it is and dark(I'm not kidding about the dark) they wouldn't go again and just make excuses. I had to call up my hunting buddy from California and get him to move out here. Now I have a hunting buddy that will go whenever. By the way, if you were closer we both would love to go bow fishing with you as we have been looking for a boat but were willing to wait until we find the right deal. Good luck and your lucky to have a girlfriend to go with you.

The older you get, the worse it gets. All my past hunting/fishing buddies have basically quit. I will turn 50 next week, but it's been this way for a long time.

It is funny when you have a good place to hunt your phone starts ringing about Oct- Jan then stops no more friends. In the off season they are always to busy. One guy I called him duck season Bert because that is the only time he had to call me I guess.

Buy a boat and the same thing happens all spring/summer..

Schedule conflicts are usually my problem. When I can go, no one else can and vise versa. Tough to find someone that can go every time you want to. I used to fish about twice per week with a guy that was retired. His boat, we'd split gas now and then, but he didn't always want to do that. I started working day shift and we rarely even see each other any more.

i'm lucky . . . . my son and bil are the two people that i want to spend time in camp with . . . they're usually wanting to go all the time.

College and new kids is putting a bit of a cramp in that but long run my two best friends hunt with me and I'm good with that.

I know the feeling. I have buddies all the time that talk a big talk, "When ya takin' us pig huntin'?" "When we going fishing?" Blah Blah Blah...but when I call em up and say let's go, there's a hundred excuses.

It's disparaging to say the least.

I like going hunting alone and never look for anyone to go with me other than my dad.
When it comes to my bass fishing though, Jooger17 is one of the only ones I have found that is as serious or more serious about it than me. Most just want to go for an hour or two. I like to stay at least 4 if not 8 or more and most quit or hint to do something else if you are not catching fish every 3 minutes.
