    Stuff dying in the walls...

The other night I thought I heard the scurring of little feet and then a loud thump coming from the wall.. more scurrying.. then nothing..
Now it smells like the stuff Maji at the office was heating up in the office microwave a few weeks back.
Found a chewed on rat/mouse poison pack in attic..
Don't much feel like cutting sheet rock in the wall tryin to find this critter so I guess we'll be febreezin the heck out of the house for a while.
Need to find some better methods of killing these things.. short of sitting in a 180 degree attic with rat shot...

That's the problem with bait. Need to find out how they are getting in there and somehow block off access.

Super sized sticky traps placed all over the attic's flat spots should stick em and as they drag that along...the other sticky traps will grab them as well....if they are big enough to drag a sticky trap along. Can't drag 3 or 4 of them easily.....so they don't end up inside the walls.

Need to check sticky traps every day.

Bait works well when you attach it to little bitty treble hooks

The big rat traps tethered to something solid work wonders.

put some moth balls in your attic and you won't have a mouse problem

To help with the smell there is a product on the market that is called ratsorb.

just let some rat snakes go in the attic.

                            problem solved!

Who put poison in the attic? Find out and have them get the dead ones out or did the directions say, "will flee outside before dying".
