Anybody ever get a fever from getting tore up by chiggers? Got covered in bites from my ankles to my neck and have had a fever for two days. Maybe just a coincidence.

What's this? I was thinking Lyme, but that takes 2 weeks to show up or something. Ya nothing is helping, can't treat to stomached issues as they will not go away.

Got the wife to paint me up with clear nail polish to kill em, but still feel like garbage.

To late this time, but get some Repel Paramone at Academy for your boots and pants.

Never had a fever with that before and have been bit all over by them little monsters. I have found that sawyers spray works best for keeping them, and ticks off of you. You can treat all your clothing and let it dry. It lasts through several washes and really works awesome. They sell it at most outdoor shops.

I got them(chiggers) on friday when I went to scout. It took two hot water baths to kill them. today no more itching.

After livingn in the woods and sleeping on the ground i found out the hard way!! Powdered sulfur works!!boots belt and underarms.

Wear less clothes and you won't get bit. Never had a fever from bites.

I had a fever and itched like mad ... ankles to chest. Had to go to the doc and got a steroid package. Cleared me right up. I hate them little suckers. I always soak my pants legs, socks and boots. Then I put my pants inside my boots. Good luck. God bless.
