Torry is that guy that everyone has had on their team. he struts around like he's the greatest gift to baseball, but he's actually the worst guy on the team.

It was my understanding Torrealba was signed purely as a back-up catcher,with Napoli being "The Guy". I know the position is the most physically demanding on the team,but I'm disappointed with the excessive amount of playing time Wash has given Torrealba.

he was signed as the primary catcher. he inked a 2 year deal almost 2 months before Napoli was traded for.

Two things...

1. We know what Napoli CAN do based on last years performance. He has 11 hr and 28 rbi this year. Good?? Heck no but not terrible.
2. Torrealba is the definition of terrible. His nickname should be Terriblalba. Dude has 8 rbi's in 31 games. That's 08 rbi's. That's pathetic given the opportunities he's had.

The Rangers are paying Napoli 3 or 4 times what they're paying Torrealba. Need to let Napoli earn his keep and let Torrealba back up. (even though Nap is having a horrible season at the plate)
