What examples are us dads setting for our sons?

John 5:9: Jesus said, "I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way."

Fathers, what kind of examples are we setting for our sons???

    Happy Fathers Day, y'all!

Kids want time with their dad....not things. Time with your kids....and not just quality time but QUANTITY!!! time.

Heard a great "Father's Day" sermon at church this morning. Pastor tyed in the Shepard aspect and tending to the sheep. It was a great reminder.

If all the fathers would just abide in Jesus the USA would look a little bit different. Doing the best you can just don't cut it. Just slow down....spend time with your kids and do good things together as a family. Do you sit down and eat your meals together at the dining room table with NO CELL phones and just talk?

Trying not to make the same mistakes twice and putting my Faith in the Lord He keeps me on the right path.

I don't have a son, but I am teaching my dog to be super lazy today. I might also grill some meat...if I feel some sort of ambition this afternoon, that is.

i try hard, but have to tell them to "do as i say and not as i do" alot.

they see me trying even though i fail alot.

There's an old saying that is very true -- "your kids may not follow your advice, but they will at some point follow your example" ( I just hope they weren't paying attention on some of my bad days!)

                            Excellent point!

This poem was on one of my cards this morning. Made my allegies start to act up.
