    Trail Camera Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a trail cam for less than $150?

Looking at the Moultrie Game Spy D-40 4.0 Megapixel Digital Game Camera, any experience with this one?

I have it. Takes good pics, just a little pain in the butt to set up. Batteries last about 30 to 40 days for me.

Spend the extra $50 and get the I40. You will make it up in batteries soon enough. 140+ days on batteries w/ thousands of picks taken on mine.

DITO spend the extra $ now, you will make it up in the end + some with battery savings alone and you wont be disapointed when you get the camera and the thing is dead and you have missed a lot of game picts. OH, get at least a 2 gig SD card as well. I have never filled it up and I take a lot of 15 sec. videos with it. they are cool

I love my I40 thanks zztex!!!!!!!

Same as above.. I got the I-40 for Christmas, and have probably taken 3500 pics. with it so far and still have 1/2 the battery. Haven't tried it yet but it takes video as well.....I have no complaints with mine, except for it is kinda hard to get the **** card out.

I’m with on that card issue. My fingers are to large to get in there. Small needle nose pliers is a must unless I have a young niece or nephew around.

The I 40 is floating to the top as one of the best out there. The mounting bracket sucks but I will take a good camera any day. The leaf River is a good camera but the I 40 is cheaper and just as good.
