Pretty darn good but I gotta say the best was Bashful Brother Oswald who played with Roy Acuff

Oswald ( Pete Kirby) was great. One of the best I've heard, was a guy named
Phelps...he is a nephew of Jackie Phelps who used to play thumb style
or Travis style guitar with Granpa Jones and on Hee Haw. This guy
used to come to the Hugo Okla. blugrass festival and play with Bill Grant
and Delia Bell. He is left handed and played it upside down.

I personally want my pickers to play the melody. Don't appreciate the
hot jazz licks. but that's just me
