    Had an arrow shatter while shooting

    Not sure what happened. I am at the ER now. I think the arrow shattered when I released. The point hit the target but the back end went through my hand.

    It hurts like the dickens but it'll leave a cool scar.

                  Good lord man that hurts to look at! I hope for a speedy recovery and I know there are a couple that will share what you can expect for recovery.

                      Dang! Hope they get everything out and it heals fine. Make sure and flex every shaft you have when you get home and do it on a regular basis so this will not happen again.

                        ouch! can someone tell me how this happens? i'm new to the bow, and i'm scared of this happening.

                          I just hope I will still be able to shoot my bow. I can wiggle all my fingers and feel the tips so hopefully it's just a flesh wound.

                          Still waiting to talk to the hand surgeon.
