    Need info on sugar gliders

My daughter saw some at the mall and now is dying to buy one.

I'm trying to find out from people that have/had one if they make good pets and what to expect. Most of the information I see online are basic facts on them from breeders and such. I am looking for more real world experiences if possible. Also what is a fair price to pay?

Hated mine. Pees on you when you pick it up. Screeches all night long. Throws it's own feces out of the cage. It does bite everybody but owner. Not as much fun as they look. Good luck if you cave in.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh heck.... had em. Never again.... up ALL NIGHT LONG as they are primarily nocturnal. Males have a scent gland that smells like fermented fruit ( most of which they eat is seed and fruits. ) Gotta stay on top of their cage before they smell as well. Cool suckers,... but not if you want to sleep .

PITA. Had one. All it did was bit me and make noise. Pass.

Ive had 3 of them.. they were pretty good pets. They are nocternal, and can be a bit moody. They have a particular odor to them akin to ferrets but not as strong. They are neat pets if you have time to mess with them alot.

My daughter also had to have one, and that lasted about three months before we gave him away with a nice cage all totalling over $300....and the loss didn't bother me one bit. They stay up barking all night, and my wife couldn't get over the smell even though we kept the cage extremely clean.

They are a complete waste of time. My x had 3 of em and they were annoyin little critters. They are like a fish......only good for 1 thing......lookin at........and after you've looked they are good for nothing........believe me I know.
