Anyone hunt up around this area? I had a friend that has an uncle that has access to around 700 acres for $8000. Just wondering what could I expect from this area.

I don't know alot about that area, but Southeast Kansas has been producing some monster bucks that last few years

We hunt in the fort Scott area and I think it's not far to Altoona . There are very good deer in the area.
