Where to find fresh fruit?

Remember growing up in Louisiana, there was a blue berry farm not far from our house, we would go and pick lots and lots. There was also a peach farm we use to go to and pick peaches the size of softballs. Is there anywhere in Texas to do that? Miss having those frozen in bulk

I don't know of any, your best bet would be to just stop at a road side farmers market

There's a blueberry farm a couple of miles south of Commerce and a pick-your-own place with apples and peaches out by TMS speedway north of Fort Worth. Both are a looong way from San Antoine though. Surely there's some closer to you,just keep asking around.

There are farms like that at Charley, Texas. They are a long way from San Antonio. Charley, Texas in northeast of Wichita Falls, Tx.

Head out of SA on 90 and you will hit about 4000 peach stands, farmer's markets, etc.. within 50 miles of SA.
