Lord I ask that you take the hand of not only Brad and his family and friends but I ask that you especially take the hand of the friend that Brad was with in this race. I ask Lord that you comfort him in knowing that he did the best he could and that he did all the right things in this time of tragedy. Lord let him know that Brads drive and will to succeed was so strong that only your words could have held him back. Lord lift the burden that surely must be on this young man's shoulders and and in your words tell him that your will is being done. Let us rejoice in knowing both a gracious and loving God as we reflect on all that is kind and good about Brad. Reach out to all of us Lord that are feeling the weight of this tragedy and help us all cope.

Just heard about this, prayers sent for Brad and his family!

Drs did some test to determine if there was any brain activity. He didn't respond to any of them. They are going to start to decrease his o2 levels slowly. After the levels get to a certain point the brain should respond and initiate breathing. If he doesn't then the family will have to make a decision about taking him off the respirator. We are all scared and the outcome is all but been determined. I can't begin to tell everyone how well the family is dealing with this they are very strong. Brad was firm in his beliefs and we all know there will be another angel looking over us. He is a organ donor and everybody is proud of that and hope that Brads organs go to someone that is ready live live live just the way Brad did.
