Rig Hand Roll Call

I know there is a lot of oil field workers on the green screen and something similar has been done before. I'd like to simplify it a little and restrict is to rig hands. Roustabouts, Floorhands, Motormen, Derrickhands, Assistant Drillers, Drillers, Toolpushers, Company Men/ Consultants, MWD Hands (even though I don't know why I kid I kid ) Directional Drillers etc. Tell us who you work for, where your rig is, and your position. It might work out to your favor some day. Let's say you're having a rig issue and can't figure out whats up. You shoot a fellow TBH'r a quick PM and BAM!!! Just like everything else on this sight you get legit information. I'll kick us off.

I was a Service Electrician for LTI, Top Drives, Lewco Mud Pumps etc. Mostly worked on Rowan and Performance Drilling rigs.

Rowan to my knowledge did not get bought out but they did sell Lewco to Cameron.

Yeah Rowan got bought out by Ensign. Only there land stuff though. Offshore is still Rowan. Well im not a rig hand. Mud Engineer for Newpark Drilling Fluids.

Yeah Rowan sold LeTourneau Technologies (LTI) to Joy Global, then Cameron bought the Drillings Systems division of LTI from Joy Global. This was all last year. Rowan sold us for around 1.3 Billion cash money. They bought a few Drill Ships. Rowan wanted to get into the deep water game. I miss the rig life sometimes.

So if you have a LTI Top Drive, rotary table, Drawworks or Lewco Mudpump ask away. If I don't know, I know who to ask. Also I have a good hook up for any of the NOV Top Drives as well.

Check around south Texas I heard there is a bunch of money to be made there now around Victoria. I'm in production out here in the gulf and just got bought out by Sand Ridge and they are planning on drilling 1000 holes on land down around that area from what I hear.

Nomac is bringing up rigs here in southern Kansas. Call your HR, a lot of folks dont want to travel. It ain't but about 7 hours from Marshall.
