I was trimming trees this evening when Kara came around the side of the house and asked, "When did you get a load a dirt?" I had no idea what the heck she was talking about. She showed me the sq yard sized pile of fresh dirt. We were both very puzzled. After walking around to the front, it became obvious.
We're a few miles northwest of Dripping Springs, out in the country. I have no idea what critter dug the hole. We've never seen an armadillo out here. Plenty of deer, jack rabbits, and the occasional coyote.
We'll know soon enough as I put a trail camera on it just before dark. In the meantime, let's see how well all of you can ID critter holes.
