Sellin something(asking price help)

Ok I'm sellin 4 stock ford rims. They are off an 02. New they are $169.00 a tire...had em look it up. Ok now what would you sell the set for and tires as well? Tires are not that great really. They are 265/70r17.
Or just rim price?

Based on my experience, it is gonna be tough getting anywhere near what the rims sell for since so many folks take them off and replace them with aftermarkets. You'll have to find the right person (like somebody that got robbed) and the right price. I'd think the tires would be more valuable. I ran into the same thing with front and rear stock bumpers as well as the receiver hitch.

Ya that's what I was thinkin too.

Hmmmmm, what else should I do? Is there anywhere I can take and sell em(prefer not a pawn shop) thatll give me ok money where I ain't gotta have em sittin in the shop til they sell on CL.

what Jason said or find a buddy that works at a dealership where they take in trades....many times the guys in the back will strip all aftermarket parts and put back to stock however, wheels/tires they don't generally have to swap...but, you have a set so....all they can say is no....

I sold all 4 of my dodge 3/4 ton rims with cooper STT tires that still had life for 50 bucks. If they are aluminum though the scrap metal yard will give about 30 each, saw a guy take one yesterday.
