This is supposed to be the year for pink Katydids. They are much more voracious feeders and also much more noisy.

Wow I just read up on them.....its a pigment disorder similiar to albino'ism. Pretty Rare. Bet you could have caught and sold that guy!!

Those are pretty cool!! I have never seen a pink grasshopper but I have seen a bright orange possum. They are also very rare. Also if you look at the very end he winks at me.

if they are rare watch out... may have some enviromental group come make your yard a preserve and you have to move.
