Does anybody have a contact phone number for Paypal. I just got an email alert that my Paypal account has just paid $545 to someone for something I bought on eBay. I hate to open something like this up for fear of virus infection, but I think I set up a Paypal account a long time ago but haven't used it in I don't know when and I certainly haven't bought anything on eBay in a couple of years. I need to find about this but I need some help.

don't open the attachment, is likely a scam. go directly to paypal website and log in to ur account. also can start dispute process on their website.

It's a scam, go to paypal and check history.

Yup!
Happened to my wife last week through email saying she needed to provide some account info to Pay Pal. She contacted them and said it was a scam as they do not contact you through email.

Thanks guys. I am on hold right now to talk to a real person but so far it looks like there has been no activity on my account. In fact I was told that my account has been suspended because I didn't supply some kind of information so that is good right now.

Good call. I always have been told to always call the direct line. Phony emails are all over the place.

Gotten that notice before and like Slick8 said, it's a scam!
