thoughts.....prayers please

Well, i just got home from a visitation for a funeral that is to be held tomorow.
The man the funeral is for is the father to my uncle by marriage to my moms sister. Very close family even thoguh we are not kin...but man i just cant take these funerals. As much as a hard *** as i try to be at all times, funerals make me weep something terrible, not for the deceased because they are off to better things, but for the family....especially in this case. My little cousin idolizes me and is every bit of a great kid. It was his grandpa who passed...but not only did he lose his grandpa, he lost his hunting buddy/mentor.

I dont know i just had to vent and get this off my chest.....anyhow best wishes to everyone and If yall dont mind pass along a few prayers for

"Big Al" Allen Novian, the deceased, and for my little cousin, Ross Novian.

Swamp, prayers are with you and the family. This sounds like a good chance for you to step into that mentor role. If you're asking for prayers, then you also know Christ. Share Christ with Ross as well, and you may well be the necessary cog in this young man's life which will set him on the path to being a responsible, contributing member of this society we all live in.
