Ever heard a big cat scream?

I did tonite. Me and my wife sitting out in the yard smoking a brisket on the smoker. It let out two screams. After the second scream there was no denying it! Have you ever hurd one?

I have heard that spine chilling scream on a few occasions. Most recently duck hunting on lake Ray Roberts.

Yes. Twice. Both times in Leon county back in 78-79. That cat was later killed by the rancher. It is a FREAKY sound.

5-6 years ago walking out just before sun up to our turkey hotspot. We got to our creek crossing and there are a few low heavy oak branches reaching over the creek off to the left about 40yds away. We heard that scream and the tree went to shaking like a truck hit it! We froze in a freaky fear and about 15sec. after all was calm I said, "umm hey dad, why didn't we shine our lights that way!?" we both agreed we didn't wanna see what the @$/)(& that was!!!

A few weeks later my dad saw the cat about 75yds out walking along the creek about 250yds away from our first noisy encounter in the dark. We told the rancher and he said, "oh yea, I'd seen em a few times out here over the years."

I lived in Montana for over 25 years. Seen a few mountain lions. One in particular I was working on my place which was next to a huge national forest, I had two year round creeks running though my property...lots of game, Elk , moose, deer...etc...anyway... I was working and I heard this blood curtailing scream like a woman screaming. I dropped my rake and went up the mountain to see what was going on....and about 200 yards up the mt and about 15 yards in front of me, in the trees there was this very large Mt. Lion with its tail waving back and forth hovering over something. Ill never forget that look he gave me.Pretty chilling. so....I slowly backed down the mt and went to the house to get my camera and went I got back the cat was gone but i walked over to where he was and there was a huge buck shed. Don't know what the deal was but he was probably claiming that for some reason. Pretty cool though very vivid memory. I will never forget that sound.

Sometimes late at night up here in Frisco I've had a few "cougars" give out a scream when they turn the lights on and kick you out of the bars.

Just gotta be careful and avoid the elder sabertooths. Hahaha!!!!
