    Help with wasp problem

I have Bermuda grass lawn that's green and being watered and 2 weeks ago some small black looking wasp with orange on them started swarming around real low to grass. Now there are probably a 100 or so out there swarming. I have kids and need to get rid of them. Any recommendations on what to try that wont kill lawn? Thought about 7 dust but don't know if it will work. Any help would be great before kids get stung because wife has already been stung once.

Dish washing soap and water will kill them if sprayed directly on them

We used this concoction as well at the cabins, but added a little bit of bleach just in case.

are they ground digger wasp? If so they may have a nest in the ground.

Are they really large? Sounds like Cicada Killers. If they are they aren't very likely to sting.

Will try soap and water. They aren't very big probably a little less than 1/2 the size of a red wasp. And they do sting, wife found out first hand.

                Ken,
I looked the cicada killer up and that's not it. Thanks for the input though

Do it at night!!! Mix up LEMON dish washing soap and water. Spray it on and around and in the hole.

If you do it at night they can't see you to come sting you BTW.

Lowes has Cutter Back Yard Bug Control. We use it for fleas and mosquitoes. It is amazing.

                    Screws on the hose....
