Went out to the lease today to fill feeders for the first time since end of season. The control box looked good, no water on the inside, no rust, etc. I got it all set up and filled with corn and when I went to test it it just made a humming sound for 5 seconds. I was running out of daylight and didn't have much time to mess with it. Does anyone know what's wrong? New motor?

Its locked up.
Or the battery is running low.
If it is locked up you can feel it by hand.. It will be hard to turn at first then should break free. It has been my experience though that once a Feeder motor locks up once it will do it again. It needs replacing.
First check for anything that might be impeding the spinner to move.. Stick /moldy corn.. But my bet is on locked up motor.

Didn't know the motor could lock up, but that's kinda what it sounded like. I guess I'll know for sure in a couple of days when I go out to check.
