    6 Volt rechargeable battery question

Stupid Question. I have 2 rechargeable 6 volt batteries. When I hook them up to my remington recharger one gets a flashing red light and the other gets a solid red light. Does the flashing light mean full charge or does the solid light mean full charge? Both show 6 volts on a volt meter but I am guessing one of them isn't fully charged.

I'm not sure about the Remington charger and what it shows when its fully charged. But 6 volt batteries that are fully charged usually show 6.5 volts or slightly higher.

What are the decimals behind the 6 on your volt meter? That will tell you alot.

what uncle said above. Usually solid lights are charging and blinking lights are faulty batteries, but every charger is different.

One battery shows 6.6 and the other shows 6.2

that 6.2 is pretty much dead.
