Tannerite Question

Once you mix the 2 componets, will it still work if wet?
Looking at blowing some beaver dams in the near future. And to get at a safe distance, may have to place on the water side of the dam or even just below the water level.

We put some in a watermelon a couple weeks back and put electrical tape around the lid to keep water out. It sat in that watermelon for hours before we shot it and it worked fine.
Not sure if it will work wet but might try taping it up good and giving it a shot.

will it actually explode... thought it was just aloud concussion with some powder residue.

We put some in a 5 gallon bucket and shot it...there wasn't sign of a bucket or parts of it left after the shot.... I don't know if it was from the concussion or if it was an explosion...ya'll can decide for me but it was pretty cool.

it does explode we have blown refridgerators, microwaves, and old beer kegs to pieces. I would just tape it so water can't get in the canister.

Check out Sure Shot Exploding Targets. They are bigger, better and safer then tannerite. I can vouche for them as they are a sponsor of mine. I put a 1/2 pound in an empty cooler...after the shot, there was no cooler left. We had to search hard just to find some foam and plastic pieces
