One fishing spot opened up... taking a list

Anyone want to go to San Antonio this weekend and fish freshwater redfish? Lets see, we have had, (one REALLY good excuse to back out!) another "I gotta back out, I gotta babysit"; "I gotta work"; "I promised the wife....." and as it stands, it now is me, the Panga, and my dog.

Leaving Round Rock at 7 a.m. Friday morning and coming back about 2ish on Sunday.

Split gas/bait (about $70); and a box of diapers for Truitt.......

I have rods/reels/tackle/boat

Camping is primative; bring your tent and food/water

Danny I'm leaving Friday night to fish the salt if interested in running San Antonio Bay. Old house has AC. If you find someone it wouldn't cost much more. You could come back Sunday but I'm stay til at least Monday

Electronics don't work on saltwater Danny. Just seems like redfish should be caught in knee deep water.

I am a more like 60' scan steel kinda guy. And Electronics work well on the rigs

Speaking of which....... we need to start planning the tag team thing. My source is telling me the grass is in but water is still green to 20 miles out of Rockport

I may run out on Monday- I dont have any spots that arent commercially available out of Rockport/Port A. If Im hitting the pond Im leaving out of POC.

Dang it, wish I could, but my wife is having a biopsy done on Friday and I can't leave her with the dogs alone in the camper afterwards...still waiting on the house to close.
