Tundra chrome bumpers... Wanting to bed line

I think my truck would look much better if my bumpers were black instead of chrome. Has anyone ever spray painted bed liner on their bumpers after sanding, priming, and then painting? If so has it held up well? What all products did you use? I was thinking duplicolor self etching primer, flat black primer, and then a few coats of duplicolor bed liner spray paint or rustoleum bedliner.... Would this be a good idea???

Yes. But that rattle can bed liner sucks. Roll it on if you're going to do it yourself, unless you buy a real spray gun.

Yes. I did my entire truck with line X. Very happy with it. Does not chip or peel.

I don't know about Chrome but, we painted our Stainless Steel nerf bars with aerosol spray bedliner about a month ago and they came out great and are holding up great so far.
First we scruffed them up pretty good with 400 grit sand paper.
        Cleaned/degreased them real good.
Sprayed two coats of RUST-OLEUM SELF-ETCHING PRIMER.
Sprayed three coats of RUST-OLEUM TRUCKBED COATING.

my bedliner tends to show dirt bad also so is that just what comes with doing the bumpers that way? Either professionally done or rattle canned???

No. I had my last truck sprayed and it didn't hold/show dirt at all. The diy products in my experience are a lot more tacky/sticky than what you'll get from a professional spray on liner. I went with paint this time around and i like that as well If you want a milder look and still lose the chrome.

I just had a spray in Bedliner done on my bed. The shop told me there is 2 processes high pressure and low pressure sprays. The high pressure is what makes it very firm and rough. The low pressure is the softer feel.
My friend bought a cheapo gun at northern tool and sprayed his himself and it turned out very nice

I painted my bumpers and the chrome piece around my grill along with the Toyota symbol in the middle of the grill. I love it
