This is my 16' fishing boat, I need to redo the wood on the trailer and need some ideas on how to do it safely and here at my house. I am not near any lakes and this will probaley take some time. So any ideas ??? Thanks in advance.

It actually doesn't take much time at all. Go ahead and measure how long the boards are and the location of the bolt holes. Cut to length and drill the holes. Cover with a good rubber-backed indoor/outdoor carpet. Haul them with you and new hardware next time you go to the lake. Launch the boat and it'll only take about 30 minutes or so to remove/replace the old runners. Just gotta make sure everything is measured correctly.

Thought about this but while I was at it I thought I might repaint the trailer too. Thanks for the help.

Yeah that aint gonna work, tried to lift a 350 block and it bent...

...Never tried that how hard?? And boat is completey decked with 3/4" plywood...front too back. And I would need an army to lift it....
motor alone probaley weighs about 150lbs and the boat is , well I have no idea to be honest.

Raise the motor all the way up and back the trailer tires in a ditch, wet the grass behind the boat and pull it off the trailer with another truck or tractor.
Replace the boards
Place the trailer tires back in the ditch and winch the boat back up with a couple of guys helping push it back on.
