From the wife or the kids? Summers are a very expensive time of the year for us as after my wife ends up at home with the kids all week during the summer she is ready to get out of the house and go somewhere on the weekends (and I don't blame her one bit)

My girls learned long ago that "I'm bored" translates to "weed flower beds" or "clean garage" or "help Mom". Their Momma don't mess around....she will put them to work.

Sent my son out to plow this morning. No such thing as bored around here, that just means you don't have enough work to do.

I always enjoyed plowing when I was a hand on a ranch while attending Tarleton. Something about not havin someone breathin down your back, you and the outside, I dunno what it is but plowing cuttin hay raking hay, any kinda alone work with tractors was pretty enjoyable for me!

Today was the last day for my son also. Already day one and we pulled out the inflatable water slide and inflatable pool and brought his cousin over to play with him.

Lol my oldest already is saying this because he got grounded last Saturday. He seems lost without his phone knowing all the end of school parties going on.
