I figured I would bump this old thread up. I'm thinking if selling the property. Still a portion if the site undug. I started a classified thread.

Holy smokes! I just spent the last 3 hrs going thru this whole thread. What an amazing thread with a wealth of knowledge and priceless artifacts. Would love to know where to begin looking and the basics on what to look for. I’m in NTX, Grayson county and have access to a ton of land around the Red River and Lake Texoma. My lease is 1000 acres and has two huge feeder creek to Texoma. Figure there has to be a lot of potential. Thanks for all the post, this thread rocks.

You are in a great spot. Especially those feeders. Look for ground above flood zone that is closest to the creek. Check clean spots on the surface for flakes generated when making points. That identifies a site. Gotta do some digging to know what's down there after that.
