    Well I have to stick with Angostura knife around 9,000 years old but the patina and wear hint that it may well be older. I would bet money, the material is a slick rootbeer colored edwards chert under that patina.

                  i dont know sic em from bow wow, but heres my question, to me, archaic refers to a timeline in the 600-700ad period.

                  is that the the era of most of these finds?
