Finally did a little something with the backyard...

So I split my backyard in 2 sections so the dogs could still have their own chunk. I finished the fence, then used Roundup and a weedeater to clean off the brick on the patio in the backyard. Did just a touch of cleanup in there and it ended up like so. The only problem was there was NO GRASS left from the dogs running rampant in the yard. Here is the before pic.

I then got new railroad ties to line the brick with, threw away all the old rotted landscape timbers, moved the trampoline to the left behind the garage, and put down a large amount of St. Augustine sod down surrounding the brick patio. Here is the after pic of it, as well as pics of the new flower bed we added yesterday by the garage. Almost decent looking enough to entertain! I just wish St. Augustine sod wasn't so expensive or we'd have already done the rest of the yard...

Good job- I like how the railroad tie border turned out! What kind of dogs? I see the one in the back of the picture.

Man, all that needs is a big ol' brick BBQ Pit over in the corner! Nice job. And I'm also a fan of "stressed" or sheet metal, or brick, or Hardee, or anything else that does not have to be painted!!
