Got Me a Nice Axis!

Went out to our place in Sonora this weekend to do a little personal hunting. We have a high populations of nice bucks that we need to thin out so I figured I could help the cause

Luck was on my side and only 1 hour into the hunt I had this guy down. Yeah yeah its a rifle kill but figured you guys would like to see it anyways. 1 shot DRT with the new .300WSM. Cant wait to get him on the wall.

A day later Hunter came out with is dad and Hunter made a heck of a shot on his mngt/meat buck. It was his first deer and we made a 500 yard stalk to within 50 yards of him. It was a great weekend.
