I asked about the hunting dept closing and they said it would be 24 hours during the season but as mentioned I bet if you needed something after hours they would probably help you out-glad to finally have a Buc-ees in our part of TX.

regular gas is 3.15. Super is 3.37. Can't beat that. The 2nd time I stopped at the NB location, they had a guy that was wiping down the ice machines. Keeping it clean. And several people inside that were cleaning and stocking. It is a fantastic store. I stopped at a couple on my way to Galveston and the gas and ice prices were great, but they could put all of them together and still not get the size and # of pumps as NB has. Today, it was pretty busy, had to wait to get to a pump and I didn't go inside as I know I would spend more money than I needed to!!!!! Will hit it on the way back to Temple later this week. I will be filling my tank at Buc-ee's from here on out as long as I am working in San Antonio. For sure!!!!!

We pay $3.96 for 20lb bags.. I'd gladly pay $1.49.

Looks like we found a new stop on our way down to our South Texas dove opener every year though...

My local Buc-ees is coming along nicely!! The one here in Bastrop will be awesome and just happens to be conveniently placed for me to make a pit stop on my way to go hunting, not to mention less than a mile from the house. I've been blessed with always having a Buc-ees around. Growing up in Giddings we had a good one and now after living in Bastrop for right at 2 years, my prayers have been answered and I'm getting one here too. Boo Yah!! Ha ha

Lol, I can appreciate the clean RRs and cheap ice but everything else is so over priced I don't understand the cult following Buc-ees has.
