    Losing my mind in Houston

Been here since Thursday night. Tests all day Friday at MDA, totally bored today, nothing to do Sunday, meeting Dr Monday and then driving home. Brought 2 poles for some bass fishing but havn't a clue where to go. Guess I'm stuck in hotel again.

Yeah the MDA should have been a dead giveaway...My A.D.D. totally took over.

In that exact vicinity, there's no real good fishing holes. You can run all the way to Galveston and do some surf fishing, there's some nice waterway in Clear Lake my neck of the woods (which is 20 minutes or so from you).

Are you just interested in fishing? Local watering holes? Help a guy out

Really just kinda venting, tired of walking the hallways. Staying at the Rotary House at MDA. I went down stairs earlier and had a beer, but I was the only one there so I came back to my room.

We USED to fish donw at the park. I haven't in a million years, but that's out of having many other options more than anything.

If it's dried up, then the Dike or Island is always a much better bet. But ya gotta have the sticker now for the dike right? I have one but don't know if you can pay for the day or what.

Well Boomer, there's a good idea, you can head south to the Texas City Dike, if anything else sitting on one of the small beaches they just rebuilt and taking in some sunshine and relaxing might be the order of the day?

It's a much better option than sitting inside all day.

IF I wasn't working night's I would jet you around to a few spots. I haven't actually hung on the dike much since they re-opened it. My FIL/MIL have a place on East Matagorda that we visit to slaughter fish now. But the dike is a part of local lore

                            It's a......landmark of sorts

I'm not speaking of that lake, no. And frankly I have NO idea to be honest man.

Mainly a lot of joggers and frisbee folks

That I know. But it is pretty this time of year
