    36v golf cart question

Easiest and least expensive way to get more torque from 36v gold cart?

    Thanks

Upgrade your controller. Then later you can add two more batteries and make it 48 volts. Buggiesgonewild.com has some great threads and advice. Also bowslayer knows alot more about carts than me, maybe he will chime in!

If you decide to go with a controller upgrade, check out Golframa. I just bought a upgraded 350amp controller for about $250.

need to know the exact year and type of your cart.Series, pds ect...That will let you find the correct parts.Voltage(batteries) will give you speed and amps(controller) will give you torque.

Get a programable controller. I have a 36 that can spin its tires pulling a 5X10 trailer loaded down with an old, heavy, plywood blind up hill on rocks.

Check out buggiesgonewild.com. There is a wealth of info there. Also, for elec carts, scottyb out of Cali is a good resource also.
