    Shawn my brother in-law shot.
The bear I had come in kept laying down at a hard quartering shot. They really don't like you to shoot when they lay down due to low recovery rates from the past. At one point I drew back in attempt to thread my arrow at the back of his rib cage and out his neck. He heard me draw and left for about a minute and half. When he came back in he laid back down with his elbow covering vitals. I had to let down and shooting light faded fast.
    Will see what happens tonight.......

I'm sick... The big block headed sow came in and skirted around the bait site. I drew and let down twice due to her going back into the brush. The third time I drew as she entered the clearing hoping for a broadside shot. She turns and come straight towards me and starts trying to pick up my scent at ten yards while I'm at full draw. My arm is getting tired, HURRY UP and turn is going through my head. She turns and I touch the release off. Only to see my arrow just clip the bottom five inches of her thick coat. I'm sure I didn't follow through and dropped my lazy arm. She ran and rubbed against my tree stand ladder, that was pretty intense. Five minutes later she circled back around and came to the edge of the clearing to get another bite but changed her mind. All this time waiting for a great shot opportunity and I blow it.

            Best of luck kevin.

If it counts I've killed about fifty black flys, they don't make a nice rug though.

A boar came in. Shot about fifteen minutes ago, no death cry.
You can see the fletchings as the arrow enters.
