I know the ones you speak of, I took four of them and mounted the on a 2x4 the placed in tree next to feeder. Works great!!! FYI may wanna take some liquid nail or epoxy and put in the joints were you adjust were the light is pointing. If you don't a racoon or bird climbing on them will move your light from pointing under the feeder and the solar panel from pointing to the sky.

do you bow hunt with them of rifle hunt? I am trying these with my deer rifle, the feeder I am putting them on is not set up for bow hunting. my stand is about 65 yards away and hoping this will give me enough light in the scope.

I suppose you could do either I have only used them at my bow sets. I had a pin light on the bow it doesn't get that bright. But, it was bright enough to clearing make out what was under the feeder. Guessing a rifle with a scope would be ok. My bow set is 22yds.

I have them at 3 different feeders right now--and can either bow hunt or rifle hunt at all 3. At one of them, I drive my truck into the pecan bottom and park where I can see the feeder--125 yds away. I have absolutely no problem seeing hogs through my Leupold w/heavy duplex reticle at that range. I have 4 of those lights at that place, plus one larger one.
