How would you prove God exists to a friend?

i was wondering something. If you had a friend that had never heard of God or even knew one existed how would you prove it to them so that they believed in God?

I work with some guys that are athiests and it got me to wondering. They say there is no "proof"

The existence of God can't be proven any more than it can be dis-proven. Whichever side of that a person believes, his/her belief is based on faith. Atheists only put faith in themselves and their own understanding when they choose to believe that God doesn't exist because He can't be proven. When a person believes that anything that they don't understand or can't explain doesn't exist, then there's not a lot you can do to convince them to believe. Just live your faith and pray that they'll find God one day. That's about all you can do. Be open to talking to them about your faith, but don't get sucked into the useless debate of trying to prove what can't be proven.

Ask them how the order and balance in our world just HAPPENED ACCIDENTALLY and somehow everything came together and worked.
This may be a poor example, but I can take a truck load of lumber, brick, and cement and have others assist me in tossing the materials randomly into the air and it will never end up being a house no matter how many others join in.

The earth tilts on an axis. We have just the right amount of Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Carbon Dioxide in the air for our lungs and body to function with.
The reason there are similarities in animals and plants is not a sign of evolution, it's the plane and obvious proof that the same Creator was at work.

Ask them also when did an explosion ever create order and balance and harmony, such as their silly Big Bang Theory. If there was something along the lines of an explosion, it would be the Creator's powers at work, not an accident that created life as they would lead us to believe.

If winning a debate is desired, you have to know more about their belief system than they do.

but how can you PROVE it? or is it even possible? I made points about the bible and the witnesses,etc. but they seem to have evidence to disprove every point I make.

Like when i talked about the bible and witnesses that were there they said the people that wrote the bible werent actual witnesses just people who had heard the stories from people that were there many years later. I looked that up and it does appear to be true.

There have been several claims of proof of noahs ark but i dont think it was ever proven to be true.

Is there any definate proof? I did some reading and it seems about 93% of all scientists dont believe in creation.
