    Longest bow waiting time?

It's six weeks today since I ordered and put the deposit on my Hoyt Vector 32, number 1 cam with 40/50 limbs. I was told initially that I had ordered in good time before the rush for hunting season. They estimated 2-3 weeks.

Apparently Hoyt are backed up with carbon orders.

Any long waiting stories to ease my pain??

Tres cool. Exactly how mine will look. I'm going to add some purple in the wrist sling - I've made half a dozen different ones to try out, lol. And I'll do a red/purple theme on my arrows.

Guess what I'll be dreaming about tonight.

Try going handmade custom, that'll take a while. But they are all ne of a kind made to your specs, not like those stamped, conveyor belt machines
Just being funny don't get mad at me, please

M.E.B. is right about the trad bows, longest I have waited for one is 6 months. When I shot compound, I would do my research, and test the ones I liked. From there I would pick 2 bows and buy the first available one. Was alot less patient back then.
Good luck with your new toy, and post pics when you get it set up.

Thanks guys. I need to hear that it's not just me.

My hubby is a luthier - he makes custom electric bass guitars, and it can take up to a year to complete an order. All hand carved, finished etc. He is thinking about trying his hand at recurve bows too. I digress.

But for a compound bow made from off the shelf parts at the Factory?!? Wahhhh!

I think it's a God thing. I am running ragged at work to get a new bookstore and cafe open for our church's new building opening next weekend. If I had my new bow I would be distracted. So, I'm thinking it's for a reason.

8 weeks for my daughters lefty Mission Craze in pink marble, my avatar pic. They told me 3 weeks 4 max. Had to hear her complain and ask me why it wasn't here yet for a month. That's not aggravating at all!!!
