Good to hear everyone is ok.

I called Mom and Dad at the Tannery and they just had some bad wind but no damage.

I tried to call SAC and didn't get an answer I am sure he is helping out with the VFD!!

I saw a few pictures of the football field and it looked like it caught it pretty good. Light poles down, scoreboard down, fence torn up bad and the entire press box was torn off.

The hospital's roof was peeled back a bit and they relocated 10 or so patients to other local hospitals.

Haven't heard much about the train deal yet...

SAC's good. He was driving home from La Grange when it blew through. Him along with a small army of people are making the rounds to a few houses with chainsaws helping clean up the downed trees. His parent's and uncle's place lost all the old sheds they had around their houses, but their houses are okay.

All is well here, so to speak. I have never seen any sort of mass destruction and I can say I have a new appreciation for Mother Nature.

Chad pretty much summed up my situation. Tugboat wasn't quite as lucky. His house sustained quite a bit of damage. He won't admit it but he and his family could use a few prayers.

The most disturbing thing I witnessed today was when I pulled into town. There was debris across the road, and the vehicle infront of me ran over some of it. When I came up to it I stopped immediatley, the numbnuts ran over a flagpole. With both U.S. and Texas flags still on it. Ther rubberneckers were out in full force. Driving by folks standing in their driveway with limbs on cars, just looking at them. My blood pressure is rising. Rant over.

As bad as it looked the town as a whole was fortunate. This just a hiccup.

I'll speak for everyone here and say thanks for the concern and prayers.
It's not over and everyone else out there be safe.

I saw it on the news this morning, but heard of no reported injuries, and the school soop said no students were injured.

                            Update:
There were no life threatening injuries. Several people went to the hospital and I heard of a few needing surgery, but no one died.

I lucked out completely. We had no damage to anything. Just a few limbs in the yard and power outage (which the entire town had for about 12 hours).

I spent the entire day on Friday helping clean up the town. If you drive through town right now it looks like a snow plow can down the streets making big snowbanks; only with tree limbs. It will take the city weeks to get everything picked up.

                            It was quite an experience!

Driving back from Schulenberg last saturday I could see how the wind beat up quite a few business' along the exits! Did I understand that there were multiple touchdowns?

The tornado had more touchdowns on that football field than the football team had
