    Can't terminate empolyment

I know this sounds strange. I worked part time for a hospital for the last 12 years. I decided that I was tired of spending my days off there. I called about 3 months ago and resigned. I've sent emails talked to HR and I'm still employed there. I keep bugging them because I can't rollover my 401 from there until my employment is terminated. How do I get terminated from a job? Asking HR folks what I can do

    That's an unusual problem

I would send them a letter (including previous correspondence as attachments) notifying them that they have so many days to terminate your employment or you will be forced to seek legal action.

Damages would include not being able to roll your 401K.

I doubt that's the case but if so- are they hiring?

Sexually harass yourself infront of another employee.

BTW, do you have a red stapler?

Must be a hospital thing. Same thing with my wife. Since she still does PRN for them sometimes they will not pay out her 401 so we can roll it over... Even tho they do not offer benefits or contribute to her 401. Pizzes me off

Put one of them hospital gowns on backwards and go sit in the HR lady's office till she gets the point.

And talk to the director and see what is the hold up with the final paperwork separating you from their employment.
