I'm sorry you are going through this. Some people have dogs and some people have pets that are members of the family. I had to put my lab of 14 years down last October and it killed me. It was the most loyal dog I have ever owned.

I just bought a new aussie and he is quickly becoming a member of the family. Looks like he will be a great little dog.

Hang in there because it does get better. You will never be able to replace him but you can get another dog one day and make more great memories with the new dog. I feel for you man!

Sorry to have just seen this. I'm in this camp along with Thorthunder, Hosskix and the rest. There is another dog out there that needs a buddy like you. You'll find him or he'll find you and I hope soon.
We have been lucky to have vets in Montgomery and Tuscaloosa like yours.
